Lago Maggiore Bike Park was born from an idea of Amedeo Liguori, born in Cava de' Tirreni in 1970, who now lives in Verbania for several years.

Graduated in Computer Science, mountain enthusiast and for over fifteen years a mountain biker, he likes to travel the territory of the province of Verbano Cusio Ossola riding a bike, just for the fun of riding and maybe uncover new trails to share with other mountain bikers.

The passion for mountain biking has led him to realize several projects:

- in 2012 he has opened a YouTube channel about video tutorial relating to the maintenance of the bike;

- in 2013 he has published the book "In mountain bike nel Verbano - 30 itinerari tra il Lago Maggiore, le valli e i monti del Verbano", a guide published by Alberti Publisher of Intra, where he has collected all him "exploratory discoveries" of the recent years in the area close to the Lake Maggiore;

- since same year he manages the web magazine "MTB-VCO.com", a site about the world of mountain biking. He collaborated, also, with some important mountain biking paper magazines;

- in 2018 he has published the book "In mountain bike nel Cusio - 20 itinerari intorno al Lago d'Orta", a guide published by Alberti Publisher of Intra, where he has collected all him "exploratory discoveries" of the recent years in the area close to the Lake Orta.

Lago Maggiore Bike Park is a project that he had in mind for some time, ever since he realized the potential, in terms of pedalability, offered by the area between the towns of Premeno and Ghiffa. An area that has a lot to offer not only to hikers and that deserves to be rediscovered.
