Un lungo itinerario che con una serie di saliscendi percorre l’intero giro del Lago d’Orta. Sentieri, strade sterrate e stradine asfaltate senza quasi mai perdere d’occhio questo affascinante specchio d’acqua del Cusio.

Partendo da Omegna mi dirigo verso il centro fino a raggiungere la punta del lago.
Starting from Omegna I go towards the center until I reach the tip of the lake.
Da qui percorro il lungolago sul lato destro, fino a raggiungere il lido di Bagnella, dove scavalco il Torrente Fiumetta.
From here I drive the lakefront on the right side, until I reach the beach of Bagnella, where I pass over the Fiumetta Creek.
Quindi per veloce sentiero raggiungo Oira, con il suo bel panorama.
Then by fast trail I reach Oira, with its beautiful landscape.
Da Oira breve salita e poi su veloce sentiero che mi porta sulla strada per Pella.
From Oira a short climb and then on fast track that leads me on the road to Pella.
Breve tratto asfaltato per poi riprendere un bel sentiero che costeggia le piccole spiagge fino ad arrivare alla punta opposta del Lago d’Orta.
Short stretch of asphalt and then I resume a nice trail along the small beaches until I arrive at the opposite tip of Lake Orta.
Da qui prima su asfalto e poi su strada sterrata costeggiando la ferrovia, fino ad arrivare a Miasino e subito dopo a Carcegna.
From here, first on asphalt road and then on a dirt road along the railway line, until I arrive at Miasino and then at Carcegna.
Da Carcegna aggiro il suo omonimo monte per poi scendere a Pettenasco, da dove inizia una dura salita, su mulattiera e poi asfalto, fino a Pratolungo. Quindi veloce discesa fino a Crabbia.
From Carcegna I turn around the Mount Carcegna and then I descend to Pettenasco, from where begins a steep climb, on muletrack and then asphalt, until Pratolungo. So fast descent to Crabbia.
Quindi su veloce sentiero a mezzacosta e a tratti panoramico raggiungo Borca. Da Borca per asfalto faccio ritorno rapidamente ad Omegna.
Then on fast and sometimes panoramic trail on the hillside I reach Borca. From Borca by asphalt I quickly return to Omegna.
